An inquest has heard a man who was attacked in a pub in Youghal in East Cork earlier this year died as a result of stab wounds.
31-year-old Daniel O’Sullivan of Lower Brown Street, Youghal, county Cork was attacked on the 14th of April last.
Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster told Cork City Coroner’s Court, the man died from shock and haemorrhage after being stabbed in the abdomen.
Coroner Philip Comyn adjourned the inquest indefinitely as a person is before the courts in relation to Mr O’Sullivan’s death.
