The HSE is advising only urgent cases should present at the emergency department at Cork University Hospital.
The ED is currently experiencing high levels of presentations leading the HSE to appeal to people with less serious conditions to consider all care options
Patients who require less urgent care are urged to contact their GP, pharmacists and minor injury units.
