Homelessness figures have risen again in Cork with 660 adults accessing emergency accommodation at the end of June.
209 children in Cork and Kerry are also growing up in B&Bs and hotels.
The latest Department of Housing figures show 15,915 people are registered as homeless across the country - yet another record - which includes nearly 5,000 children.
The data doesn't include rough sleepers, women in refuge centres, asylum seekers, refugees or the so-called 'hidden homeless'.
