The Greater Chernobyl Annual Christmas Craft Fair will take place in Marian Hall in Ballinhassig this Sunday.

The Craft Fair will celebrate all things beautiful with an array of items on sale including jewellery, designer clothes, candles, Christmas cards, crystal, ceramics, books, toys,  paintings, preserves, and much more.

All items have been donated for sale by very generous artists, and everything is absolutely new and will be sold at rock-bottom prices.

“Please come out and support our Christmas Fair on Sunday 20th November where you can buy all your Christmas presents at great prices under one roof. Your support will bring hope and joy to those in despair There is no better gift than making those who feel abandoned know that they are cared for” concluded Fiona Corcoran founder of the charity.

The Greater Chernobyl Cause continues to meet the challenge of supporting the people of Ukraine. We finance Humanitarian Hubs in Lviv Ukraine and at the Slovakian Border, supporting refugees, and providing medical intervention along with food, accommodation, and counselling. Also directing vital humanitarian aid

We support families escaping the war. Our volunteers meet refugees at the airport and bring them to hubs such as City West, assisting with the registration process. We work at finding homes and apartments for as many people as we can, at a time when housing is extremely difficult to come by.

The charity provides direct access and networking to existing public services agencies as well as providing direct contact with refugees requesting assistance. As refugees attempt to settle into life in Ireland, direct demands have significantly increased on the Greater Chernobyl Cause as we respond to these Ukrainian communities.
