Gardai are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a fatal assault in the City last week.
Jason Butler passed away from his injuries last Friday, following the assault that occurred on Grand Parade on Wednesday evening, June 14th.
A man in his 20s was arrested in connection with the assault and has since appeared before Cork District Court.
Investigating Gardaí are renewing their appeal for any witnesses to this assault, who have not yet come forward, to do so.
Road users and pedestrians who may have camera footage or dash cam footage who were in the area of Daunt Square and Grand Parade between 7.15pm and 8pm on Wednesday June 14th are asked to make this footage available to Gardai.
