Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault in the City on Wednesday night.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed to RedFM News that an 'incident of assault' happened at Popes Quay at around 10 to midnight on the Wednesday, 29th December.
Two men in their 30s were taken to Cork University Hospital.
Investigations are ongoing but no arrests have been made as yet.
