Gardaí in North Cork arrested two people for driving under the influence of drugs yesterday.
The County Roads Policing Unit are continuing to roll out their Christmas Road Safety Campaign.
The first driver tested positive for cannabis and was arrested by Gardaí in Kanturk.
A separate driver came to assist his friend a short while later and was also arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
The second driver tested positive for Cannabis, Cocaine, Opiates, Benzodiazepines Amphetamine and Methamphetamine.
Gardaí are reminding people to never drive under the influence as they continue their Christmas Road Safety Campaign.
18 people have been killed on Cork roads so far this year.
