A small quantity of drugs along with drug paraphernalia and a number of mobile phones were discovered during the search of a house in Ballincollig around 7pm last night.
13kg of cannabis herb was then discovered in a follow-up search at a nearby residence.
The man was arrested at the scene and taken to the Bridewell Garda station for question.
Gardaí say an investigation is ongoing and the drugs will be sent for further analysis.
