Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an alleged assault in North Cork last night
Just after 7pm a woman in her 30's reported an assault by a man while walking in Island Wood, Newmarket,
She did not require medical attention following the incident.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was walking, cycling, running or visiting the Island Wood walking trails yesterday evening and who may have noticed any unusual activity to contact them at Mallow Garda Station
