Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after two men were taken to hospital following an alleged assault at apartments on Patrick Street.
Emergency services including the Garda Armed Support Unit were alerted to the incident at around midday yesterday.
A man was taken to CUH with non-life threatening injuries while a second man was taken to hospital after attending Bridewell Garda Station following the incident.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí said:
"Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of an alleged incident of assault that occurred at an apartment on St Patrick’s Street in Cork city yesterday afternoon Monday 6th October 2025 at approximately 12pm.
A male was conveyed to Cork University Hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
A second male was conveyed to Cork University Hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries after attending Bridewell Garda Station following the incident.
Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses to the incident to contact them at Anglesea Street Garda Station on 021 4522000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing."
