Friends of a young woman who died in hospital after becoming ill following the Cork City Marathon at the weekend, are being asked to wear bright colours and bring a flower, to her funeral mass on Thursday.
The family of 24 year old Ellen Cassidy say she will be “forever loved and truly missed.”
Requiem mass for Ellen will take place at the Church of the Annunciation in Blackpool on Thursday, with burial afterwards at St Catherine’s Cemetery in Kilcully.
