Efforts are being made to find a replacement postmaster for a Cork city post office which closed last month.
The High Street post office closed on March 5th after the retirement of the previous postmaster, with two separate adverts for a replacement failing to attract any applicants.
An Post is to advertise the position again, while the company is also engaging in local canvassing as they attempt to fill the vacancy.
In the meantime, customers of High Street Post Office have been directed to South Douglas Road post office.
