Four fishermen had to be rescued in West Cork after their fishing trawler got into difficulty
Castletownbere RNLI responded to the Mayday last night after the trawler which was making it's way from Dinish Wharf to Castletownbere Harbour when it hit a post inside the harbour and rapidly took on water.
All four were transferred to the lifeboat and the trawler sank within 15 minutes.
The fishermen were returned safely the short distance to Castletownbere Harbour.
