Aunty Nellies is closing two of its sweet shops at the end of the year in Carrigaline and Cobh and Moby Dicks in Youghal is also to shut its doors in January

And the Quay Co-Op restaurant is to close after 44 years with the age of the 10 Co-Op members cited as a key factor driving the closure.

The premises will be taken over the Cork-based vegan firm My Goodness Food while the co-operative will continue to run the shop, bakery and bookshops as separate enterprises
