Flooding and dangerous driving conditions are expected across Cork today.
Cork is under a yellow rain alert until 6pm and roads throughout the city and county are already flooded
There's heavy flooding on the Banduff Road, Modelfarm Road, The Commons Road, The Fota Road towards Cobh, The Carrigrohane Road, The N40 South Ring Road and N27 South Link Road.
There's flooding on the R579 between Healy's Bridge and Cloghroe near Musketry Golf Club.
Gardaí say the conditions are causing huge traffic delays and are appealing to motorists to slow down and drive to the condtions.
Met Éireann forecaster Mark Bowe says it's particularly concerning as the ground is already saturated after Storm Babet:
"The heaviest of the rain will again likely be in parts of the south-east, so rather similar areas again, especially in those counties located in that orange warning, so Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford. They're likely to be the worst hit of the counties, particularly in those regions, those south-eastern parts, there's definitely localised flooding possible".
