Paschal Donohoe will unveil his spending and tax measures at 1pm.
The VAT rate for food hospitality businesses will be cut, and the State Pension will rise and the €3,000 student fees are set to be permanently cut by €500.
Minister Paschal Donohoe feels it’s a fair Budget looking to the country’s future:
"I think it's difficult to find any one word that can ever describe a single budget, particularly a single budget that has over nine billion euro worth of spending and tax measures within it, so I might just pick two- the first one is investment, and the second word I'll pick, which is a key feature of the budget... I do believe it is a budget that gets the balance between that and being safe."
