The families of the 18 babies whose organs were sent from Cork University Maternity Hospital for incineration are to receive copies of the draft report in September.
The draft report will detail how the children's organs came to be sent to Antwerp - without the consent or knowledge of their parents.
The Examiner is reporting that the families concerned have been sent an email which states the draft report will be with them by mid- to late-September, and apologising for the delay in the draft being issued.
The report was due to be completed by last September.
