Approximately €9,000,000 will be invested to upgrade water supply in Ballyvolane in the New Year.
Irish Water are due to commence work on the northside of the city in January and say the project will last around 18 months,
The upgrades on water and wastewater infrastructures will support the development of new and existing homes and businesses in the area.
