The US President's threatened Apple with a 25 per cent tariff if it doesn't start producing Iphones in the US.
On social media Donald Trump said he long ago told Tim Cook they should be manufactured and built in the States.
He said they shouldn't be made in India or anywhere else.
Apple's European Headquarters are in Hollyhill, Cork with the computer giant employing over 6,000 people across a number of sites in the city
