A Cork TD says the disposal of the alleged drug-trafficking ship MV Matthew near Passage West might not take place until early next year.
Revenue has confirmed it could take several months before it's disposed of, despite a court order six months ago giving the go-ahead.
Speaking to RedFM News, Cork TD Seamus McGrath says he'll be keeping the pressure on to have it removed:
"It is possible that it could go into next year and I know that's something the community will not want to hear, and as a representative for the area I'll certainly be keeping the pressure on myself to ensure that it is disposed of in a timely fashion."
