Country’s First Remote Working Hub For People With Disabilities Opens In Ballincollig

The country’s first remote working hub for people with disabilities has opened in Ballincollig.

The ‘Impact Hub@Crann’ features 17 desks with high speed broadband in a fully accessible office.

Businesses located in the hub will be able to avail of tailored business supports and mentoring from Local Enterprise Offices in the city and county. as well as the mentoring programme at MTU’s Rubicon Centre.

The Crann Centre say just over 36 per cent of people aged 15 to 64 with a disability are at work compared to almost 73 per cent of people without a disability.
