The Venezuelan community in Cork say they are delighted Nicolas Maduro is facing charges in the US.

Donald Trump is expected to meet with oil executives today just days after the president of Venezuela was captured on drug trafficking charges, which he denies.
Gaby O’Connor Nunez who lives in Douglas told RedFM News she was forced to leave Venezuela because of the lack of freedom in the country due to Nicolas Maduro’s regime:
"We were surprised but we were happy, we are delighted he is finally going to face justice, but at the same time we're hoping that the rest of the regime disappears and give us the chance to have freedom in our country for the first time in 26 years."
