Cork has been promoted by over 70 tour operators and travel agents in Belgium and the Netherlands at Tourism Ireland's B2B workshops.
19 Irish tourism operators, including the Jameson Distillery in Midleton, have connected with Belgian and Dutch travel professionals, giving businesses a valuable opportunity to showcase and sell their products.
Karen van der Horst, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Northern Europe, said:
“We’re really pleased that over 70 key Belgian and Dutch travel agents and tour operators took the time to come and meet with our partners from Ireland in Brussels and Amersfoort this week. Their participation is a strong indication that interest in visiting the island of Ireland remains high in both Belgium and the Netherlands.
“Our B2B workshops and sales calls provide a really valuable opportunity for our partners from Ireland to showcase their product. The aim is to highlight the many things to see and do on the island of Ireland to the influential Belgian and Dutch travel professionals and to help secure a greater share of their business in 2023 and beyond.”
