A Cork teenager who lost both legs in a farming accident has been overwhelmed with the amount of money raised for her care
Over €355,000 has been raised since the end of July for Féile O'Sullivan after she underwent a double leg amputation days before her 13th birthday
Féile is being treated at Crumlin Children's Hospital where she is facing several more surgeries before she can return home to Beara (BEAR-A) in West Cork
Local County Councillor Finbarr Harrington told RedFM News the accident has been life changing for Féile and her family
"Féile was your typical thirteen year old, full of life, loves sport, farming, loves animals, you know, really, really outgoing, just a really, really nice kid. Unfortunately, just days before her thirteenth birthday, she was involved in a very serious farm accident, which has and will change her life forever. It has left her with life changing injuries"
