A Cork TD is calling for Meals on Wheels to take over from the hot school meals programme to improve the quality of the food.
Independent Ireland leader Michael Collins says he was 'sickened' when he saw pictures of some of the food being served to children through the service.
While speaking at Leinster House this week, he produced a photograph he was given by a constituent of a lunch their child had brought home from school after refusing to eat it.
