Cork Simon says the majority of people who need homes right now are single adults.
The heads of three major housing developers appeared before an Oireachtas housing committee today.
With 675 adults accessing emergency accommodation in Cork Sophie Johnston from Cork Simon told RedFM News an increase of 1 bed homes are needed:
"The majority of people that are becoming homeless in the South West are single adults, so we need an increase of homes, particularly one bed homes."
