Cork is marking the 30th anniversary of the death of guitarist Rory Gallagher this weekend
The main roadway into Cork Airport is being named after him tomorrow while concerts, exhibitions and a city-wide walking trail are being run across this memorial weekend
The City's Lord Mayor says the Cork Rocks for Rory festival is supported by the city and county councils and allows Cork to "celebrate Rory's genius".
