The 35th anniversary of one of aviation's worst terrorist attacks will be remembered today in the Cork town of Ahakista.

A bomb exploded on Air India flight 182 off the Cork coast on June 23rd 1985, killing all 329 passengers and crew.

The only one person jailed for the attack was released from prison in Canada after serving two decades.

Cork County Council Mayor, Ian Doyle, will lead the online memorial for families and dignitaries who can't attend due to Covid-19 restrictions.
