A Cork domestic abuse support service says information is power when it comes to making a decision to leave an unsafe domestic situation

OSS Cork says they are overwhelmed with the number of people turning to them for support and say they need to expand in order to cope with the level of demand

The accommodation crisis across the country is proving to be one of the biggest roadblocks to people who fear they will be left homeless if they flee the family home

Speaking to RedFM News Deborah O’Flynn, manager of OSS Cork says before making any decision it is important to be properly informed

"Get your information - information equals power. When you have the information you can make informed decisions rather than reacting to a situation that you might regret after the fact"
