Cork City Council says it's conducting a complete overhaul of how it manages its housing stock.
It comes as tenants across the city in places such as Mayfield, Togher and Noonan's Road have raised complaints of poor living conditions in recent years.
Speaking to RedFM News, Chief Executive Valerie O'Sullivan says resources are often a problem within the City Council:
"We are actually doing a complete overhaul and review of how we manage our housing stock. We have gone out to tender for consultants to help us with that. Some things absolutely could be better. Resources are often a problem."
