Cork City Council has collected over €234,000 in derelict site levies in the first six months of the year.
In a statement to RedFM News, the Council says they have a higher than average collection rate for derelict site levies and is actively reviewing all options to improve collection rates.
The Council says there are currently 111 sites on their derelict sites register- 22 were added between the first of January and the 30th of June and 6 were removed.
