Cork Chamber say they want to see the cost of living and lack of housing addressed in Budget 2024.
They are also calling on the Government to extend the business energy support scheme.
A survey revealed that 97% of business owners remain confident in their business.
Speaking to RedFM News, Rory Kelleher from Cork Chamber says people on the average salary are struggling to buy or rent homes due to cost of living increases:
"What businesses want to see is the supply of housing for sale and for rent increase substantially. The recent measures are welcome, but we need more done. We have quite a rapidly expanding population here now and a very strongly growing economy."
