Some of Cork's beaches and coastal areas haven't fared well in terms of cleanliness.
The latest Irish Business Against Litter Survey found half of littered or heavily littered waterfronts were in Cork.
Prionsas Ó Tuama is the founder of the environmental group Sea and Land Trust.
He says they put over 500 hours into cleaning up White Bay Beach in the second half of last year.
