Management say they are on track to achieve a 50% energy reduction target three years ahead of a 2030 deadline.

A new €6.2 million substation was officially opened at the airport today and replaces the substation that had been in place at the airport when it opened in 1961.

Speaking to RedFM News, Managing Director Niall McCarthy says they have ambitious plans to construct a 1.8 kilowatt solar farm at the airport in 2025:
