Cork Airport introduce 2 new routes

Cork Airport has launched it's busiest ever winter schedule.

27 routes will be served by five airlines, with 1.1 million seats across the routes, with its winter schedule operating from October 30th to March 31st.

Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Hildegarde Naughton was in attendance the launch this morning, where two new routes were unveiled.

Ryanair will be operating flights from Cork to Rome and Cork to Newcastle.

Cork Airport is expected to serve 2.1 million passengers this year, and Acting Managing Director at Cork Airport, Roy O'Driscoll told RedFM News the airport continues to go from strength to strength.
