Cork Airport experienced its busiest summer on record, with 1.1 million passengers.
The airport has seen an 8% increase in passengers from London with Heathrow and Stansted the two busiest destinations from Cork, followed by Faro, Malaga, and Manchester.
August was the busiest month ever for Dublin Airport, welcoming nearly 3.8 million passengers.
200 million euro is being invested in Cork Airport over the coming years as part of the airport development plan
