Those hoping to park at Cork Airport this June bank holiday weekend are being advised to arrange alternative ways of getting there as the three car parks are already sold out.
68,500 passengers are expected at the airport this weekend – an increase of 20% compared to the same time last year.
Speaking to RedFM News, Cork Airport's Barry Holland says people need to book parking in advance to guarantee a space:
"So for anyone who hasn't booked car parking, we would advise and we would recommend that alternative modes of transport may be used. Our advice throughout the summer and has been consistently since early Spring has been to book your car parking well in advance and that's for anyone who is flying out over the summer."
