A community group opposed to plans for a section of a proposed BusConnects route on the northside of the city have asked the National Transport Authority to approach Apple about developing a park and ride service.
The “Impact- Our Community Matters” group which represents people living in Knocknaheeny, Hollyhill, Gurranabraher and the surrounding areas say the plans for the Hollyhill to City corridor, which include the removal of car parking and trees on Harbour View Road, are not suitable for the area.
The plans for Harbour View Road have already been changed to include less dedicated bus lane following the first round of public consultation.
The second round of consultation ends on Thursday.
