The City Council is asking Corkonians to name a new pedestrian-and-cycle bridge over the South Ring Road.

The bridge is part of a path linking Grange to the Tramore Valley Park and is expected to be completed by September.

The Council say the name should be positive for the city's image.

More information is available at the council's website, corkcity.ie .

Nominations must be submitted before 4 o'clock on Friday, 28th April.
