Organisers of the Cannonball supercar run have raised over €315,000 for the Cork-based Hope Foundation in the past two years.
This years event on September 9th started in Malahide in Dublin and stopped in Fermoy and Kinsale before making its way to Killarney.
Hope funds and operates over 60 projects including 11 child protection homes, a hospital, an abulance and a counselling service.
The charity also provides education, food and medical support to help to free children from child labour, neglect and poverty.
This years event also funded two buses which will be in service to help street children in Kolkata in India for the next 15 years.
