Bus Éireann says an investigation is underway after a 208 double decker bus went out of control and crashed into a garden wall in Tivoli.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident in the Ashmount area shortly after 7 o'clock yesterday evening.
Victor Shine from Cork City Fire Brigade told RedFM News the bus driver was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries:
"A double decker bus coming down a hill lost control for whatever reason. It's under investigaiton at the moment, it went across across a grassy area, minor injuries were reported by passengers and the bus driver recieved some injuries as well."
