It comes as demolition work has already begun inside the former Savoy Theatre which will see it redeveloped into a mixed-use property.
The landmark building on Patrick Street which more recently housed Debenhams until it's closure during the pandemic, will go on sale as the Roche family, put their two Irish properties in Cork and Dublin on the market.
The building previously went on the market in 2017 with a guide price in the region of €70m.
Business leaders in the city say the landmark building has an abundance of potential to become a multi purpose property in the heart of Cork city
