British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is visiting Belfast this morning - before coming to Cork for a UK-Ireland summit with Taoiseach Micheál Martin.
Mr Starmer arrived in Northern Ireland last night and attended a British/Irish gathering at a hotel in Belfast, where he talked about the importance of 'resetting the relationship with Dublin'.
Speaking ahead of today's summit in Cork, Micheál Martin said they would address progress on the programme of co-operation agreed at their last summit in Liverpool last year - and reaffirm a commitment to deepen the friendship and partnership between Ireland and the UK in the years to come.
Lapp’s Quay, Connell Street and Terence MacSwiney Quay will be closed between four and 10 o'clock this evening.
Drivers are asked to allow extra travel time and follow local diversion routes in the city centre.
