Richard Satchwell has been jailed for life for the murder of his wife Tina Satchwell in 2017.
The 58-year-old of Grattan Street, Youghal, county Cork was found guilty on Friday following a five-week trial at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.
In her victim impact statement, Tina’s half-sister Lorraine Howard said “no sentence could ever be enough for the monster who took Tina from us”
Defence barrister Brendan Grehan told the court his client intends to appeal the sentence.
