Richard Satchwell has been found guilty of the murder of Tina Satchwell.
The body of the 46-year-old was discovered under the stairs of the home she shared with her husband on Grattan Street, Youghal in county Cork in October 2023.
Richard Satchwell denied the charge of murder and said his wife died in a struggle after attacking him with a chisel in March 2017.
The jury of seven women and five men returned the verdict after nine hours and twenty eight minutes of deliberations.
