A bird-flu scare has closed Fota Wildlife Park.
Public access to the East Cork attraction has been suspended today and tomorrow about suspected cases of avian influenza.
Investigations are underway and further updates will be issued in the coming days.
Fota Wildlife Park told RedFM News "Following a report from Fota Wildlife Park to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine regarding suspected cases of avian influenza (bird flu), public access to the Wildlife Park will be suspended on Tuesday October 14th and Wednesday, October 15th inclusive."
