The Arts Minister says she'll be pushing for restrictions around live events to be eased from next month at the Cabinet Sub-committee meeting this morning.
The events sector is becoming increasingly frustrated with the restrictions, at a time when thousands of fans are being allowed attend Croke Park.
Minister Catherine Martin says she'll also be discussing what can be done to facilitate Electric Picnic going ahead.
Speaking on the way into the meeting, she said it's time for musicians to be able to perform again.
