Around 74,000 passengers will travel through Cork Airport this August Bank Holiday weekend.
That’s an increase of 14 percent on last year.
Speaking to RedFM News, Barry Holland explains the growth this year:
"Passenger traffic at Cork Airport in the year to date in 2025 is up 15%. That makes us the fastest growing airport in Ireland. We were also the fastest growing airport last year. And, again, it's down to the increase in the amount of routes and an increase in the number of connections. We have the likes of KLM and Air France expanding their connections over the winter as well.
