Around 100 farmers and residents who received letters saying part of their land would be used for the Cork to Kinsale Greenway attended a protest last night.
Landowners against the greenway protested the public consultation being held by the county council at the Viaduct Bar on the Bandon Road.
Some of the 17 hundred residents who are affected have set up a petition "save our land, stop the Cork to Kinsale greenway now at Change.org".
