Adverse Weather Conditions Impact Flight Schedule At Cork Airport Today

The adverse weather conditions have been having an impact on the flight schedule at Cork Airport today.

Four flights had to be diverted from Cork to Shannon Airport this morning.

The four flights took off from London Stansted, London Heathrow, Edinburgh and Paris.

The arrival of the Ryanair flight from East Midlands has been delayed until 3.15pm and the service from London Stansted is delayed until 14.35pm.

Three holiday departures to Palma, Reus Salou and Lanzarote are all carrying delays along with the services from Manchester and London Heathrow.

Speaking to RedFM News Cork Airport's Barry Holland says three flights had to be cancelled this afternoon:

"There are three cancellations at Cork airport today. The Aer Lingus service EI712 to London Heathrow, Air France service to Paris Charles de Gaulle, AF1095, and the KLM service, KL106 to Amsterdam Schiphol".
